Buying and ordering
- Do I buy from you or from AMSOIL?
- From AMSOIL. Every product link on this site opens AMSOIL's own store with my Dealer number attached. You pay AMSOIL and AMSOIL ships it to you. Nothing is sold on this site — there is no cart and no checkout here.
- Why are there no prices on this site?
- Independent AMSOIL Dealers are not permitted to publish AMSOIL pricing on their websites. AMSOIL publishes it on their own store, where it stays current. Follow any product link and the real price is right there.
- Do you stock anything locally?
- No. AMSOIL ships direct from their own distribution centres, which is why I do not need a warehouse and you do not pay for one.
- How fast does it ship?
- AMSOIL states that the large majority of orders placed on a weekday afternoon ship within 24 hours and arrive within about three days by ground. Their shipping page has the current detail, including tax and freight.
- Something arrived damaged, or I need to return it.
- That is AMSOIL's — they took the order and they own the fulfillment. Their return policy is linked below. Tell me too if it would help, but do not wait on me to start it.
- Do you ship outside Mississippi?
- AMSOIL ships direct nationwide, so where you are does not change what you can order. It only changes whether we meet or talk on the phone.
Choosing the right product
- How do I know which oil my vehicle takes?
- Start with AMSOIL's lookup for your equipment type — it reads year, make and model and returns products that fit. Cross-check the viscosity and specification against your owner's manual. If those two disagree, go with the manual and call me.
- Is synthetic actually worth it for my situation?
- Sometimes no. If you drive a short commute and change the oil on schedule with a decent conventional, the gain is small. Where it earns its money is heat, load, long drain intervals, extreme cold, towing, and equipment billed by the hour. I will tell you which one you are.
- Can I mix synthetic with what is already in there?
- For engine oil, mixing is not dangerous — you just dilute whatever advantage the better oil had. For coolant and for gear oil with a limited-slip additive, do not mix technologies; confirm or flush first.
- How long can I actually go between changes?
- AMSOIL publishes drain interval guidance per product and per service condition, and that is the number to follow. If you want a longer interval than the published one on commercial equipment, the honest way to set it is oil analysis, not a guess.
- Which filter fits?
- Use the AMSOIL lookup or their filter cross-reference guides. Filters are matched by application, not by thread size, and a filter that screws on is not proof of a correct match.
Preferred Customer and business accounts
- What is a Preferred Customer?
- AMSOIL's pricing membership for individuals. You buy at a reduced price and get free shipping on qualifying order totals. Nothing ships automatically and there is no selling requirement.
- Is a Preferred Customer membership worth it for me?
- Rough rule: more than one vehicle, or more than one purchase a year, and it usually pays for itself. One oil change a year on one car, probably not. Call and I will do the arithmetic with you rather than at you.
- What is the difference between the four business programs?
- Commercial is for a business that uses the product on its own equipment. Installer is for a shop putting it into customers' vehicles. Retail is for selling it over a counter. Dealer is for building an independent business selling AMSOIL. The business pages go through each.
- Why does the installer application say 'Retail'?
- Because AMSOIL does not currently publish a separate installer application form — their own installer page hands applicants to the retail account form. It is not a wrong turn and the account you get is the right one.
- Is there a contract or a minimum order?
- No, on any of them. No contracts, no purchase minimums and no inventory quotas.

- Is this AMSOIL's website?
- No. This is Williamson Lubricants, an Independent AMSOIL Dealer in Clinton, Mississippi. AMSOIL INC. is a separate company and this site does not speak for them.
- Does this site collect my information?
- There is no form on this site — no contact form, no newsletter box, no account sign-up, nothing to type into. If you call or email, that is you contacting me directly. The privacy page explains what happens to that.
- Do you use tracking or analytics?
- No third-party analytics or tracking scripts run on this site. The only script it loads from anywhere else is AMSOIL's own Authorized Dealer badge, which they require on every page.
- Why do some links go through /go/ first?
- So I can fix a destination in one place if AMSOIL moves a page, and count which buttons people actually use. It records the button name and nothing about you. Every destination is on a fixed list — a link that is not on the list does not redirect anywhere at all.
