The three AMSOIL synthetic oil tiers
Every AMSOIL gasoline motor oil belongs to one of three tiers. All three are 100% synthetic — the difference is how long each is built to run between changes, and how much extra protection it carries for turbocharged, direct-injection and hard-use engines. AMSOIL's own product pages have the exact conditions each interval assumes; this is the short version.
-
Matches your manufacturer's interval
OE
Built to the drain interval your vehicle's manufacturer already recommends — a straightforward synthetic upgrade over conventional oil at the interval you already follow.
- Formulated for the drain interval your manufacturer specifies
- 100% synthetic wear protection for turbo and direct-injection engines
- The straightforward choice if you just want a better oil at your normal interval
-
Up to 20,000 miles
Extended-Life
AMSOIL's mid-tier synthetic — up to 20,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, in normal service in personal vehicles. Fewer oil changes without stepping up to the flagship line.
- Up to 20,000 miles or one year between changes in normal service
- 37% more cleaning power than AMSOIL OE Synthetic Motor Oil
- Protects against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI)
-
Up to 25,000 miles
Signature Series
The top of the AMSOIL line. Built for the extra stress of turbocharging, direct injection and extended intervals — up to 25,000 miles between changes, with AMSOIL's strongest wear and deposit protection. Check AMSOIL's product page for the exact conditions the interval assumes.
- Up to 25,000 miles between changes
- 4X more piston protection against LSPI than the industry standard requires, even after 25,000 miles
- AMSOIL's strongest wear, cleanliness and horsepower-retention claims

Why there are no prices here
AMSOIL sets the prices and AMSOIL takes the order. As an Independent AMSOIL Dealer I am not permitted to publish their pricing, and I would not want to — it would go stale and mislead somebody. Every product link on this site opens the real page, with the real price, on AMSOIL's own store.
